The Founder & Conviction
Buki Alao is the founder of archē and a student of what governs leadership from underneath. She has spent nearly two decades inside a global financial data and technology organization, building the structures other people's work runs through: standing up a project management office, leading global teams, and designing the governance and operating rhythms through which decisions get made.
Over that time, she became increasingly attentive to something the structure could not explain. Highly capable women — prepared, credentialed, and consistently effective — would arrive at the edge of their own authority and stop. Not because they lacked skill. Because something underneath the skill had already decided what they were allowed to claim.
That observation became the foundation of archē.
The work sits beneath traditional leadership development. Not at the level of approach, skill, or presence — but at the level of belief architecture: the beliefs that formed before the first senior role and have been quietly governing how a woman leads, decides, and exercises authority ever since. Buki's conviction is that the constraint is almost never what it appears to be.

She holds a degree in Economics from the University of Ibadan and professional certifications in project management and agile delivery.
